A six session, skill building and support group for parents of adolescents and young adults. Offered in a small group, private practice setting , this program offers practical tools, support and professional consultation.

Parents’ Turn provides clear, useful tools to implement the rules and structures that you choose for your family. Preliminary Parents’ Turn research shows that participants demonstrate a clear decrease in over-reactivity and an increase in calm, intentional structure. When parents spend less time on ineffective strategies like nagging, arguing and conflict, the opportunity for improved family relationships develops. This curriculum is inspired by more than two decades of work with adolescents and families and my prior experience as a certified facilitator of the Parent Project, Sr.  The Parents’ Turn curriculum is offered in larger venues at Huckleberry Youth Programs and Kaiser Permanente – Santa Clara.  Choosing Parents’ Turn in this private practice setting, provides a class taught by the author of the curriculum as well as increased opportunity for consultation of a small group.  Through instruction, discussion and practice, participants will develop their own action plans for addressing problem behaviors.
